How do I book a tour?
Choose a tour from the Destinations menu, select your date and number of travelers, then tap the WhatsApp booking button. Our team will check availability and send you a confirmation with the payment details.
How do I pay?
Once availability is confirmed, we send the payment details via WhatsApp. For your safety, only pay to the account provided directly by the Akasa Journey team through our official number, +62 813-6145-4047.
What is the difference between an open trip and a private trip?
An open trip departs on a fixed date together with other travelers, which keeps the cost lower. A private trip is just for your group, with dates and itinerary tailored to you.
Can you arrange a custom trip for my family, group, or company?
Yes. Send us your destination, dates, group size, and budget on WhatsApp, and our team will put together an itinerary and quote for you.
What is included in the tour price?
It depends on the tour. What is and isn't included is listed on each tour page. Extra costs such as visas or guide tips are shown separately, so there are no hidden fees.
Why do prices in other currencies vary?
Our prices are set in Indonesian Rupiah. Prices in other currencies are estimates based on exchange rates and may change slightly. We confirm the final amount when you book.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms vary by tour and are explained when we confirm your booking. If your plans change, contact us as soon as possible so we can help.
Can Akasa Journey help with visas and passports?
Yes. For international trips, visa and passport services are available through Visacepat (visacepat.com), part of the same company, PT. AKASA KREASI BERSAMA.
Do you offer Kualanamu Airport transfers?
Yes. See the Airport Transfers menu for pickups from or drop-offs to Kualanamu Airport (KNO), with destinations such as Medan, Bukit Lawang, Berastagi, and Parapat. Prices are per vehicle, one way.
Are the Bukit Lawang tours suitable for beginners or children?
We offer options at different difficulty levels, from half-day tours to multi-day jungle treks. Tell us the ages and fitness of your group and we'll recommend the best fit.
Where is your office and what are your opening hours?
Our office is at Jl. Garu I No. 48, Medan, North Sumatra. We're open Monday–Saturday, 09:00–17:00 (WIB, UTC+7). You can message us on WhatsApp at +62 813-6145-4047 anytime and we'll reply as soon as we can.
